Herne Hill offers its residents a variety of reasons to love the area. This charming part of London has an array of coffee shops, parks, and restaurants, many of which are family-run businesses. The streets are beautifully tree-lined in the summer and there’s a very cosy atmosphere in the winter.
The green open spaces in Herne Hill are a great source of appeal, with some of our favourite places including the Brockwell Park, Gym, and The Lido and Café. Large Victorian Houses and period properties are also very common in this area, while we also possess a number of excellent schools and facilities for all ages.
Visit the Herne Hill Farmers Market, located on the semi-pedestrianised area near the station, for locally produced food and arts and crafts. With the Herne Hill Thames Link BR Station, it’s easy to forget that Herne Hill lies within London Zone 2, with travel to London Victoria possible in just 8 minutes.
It probably comes as no surprise to hear that Herne Hill is a very family orientated area with a strong community feel. Many young professionals are also attracted to the area due to the excellent transport links into central London.
All things considered, we can’t think of any reason not to love Herne Hill!
